Wild Cup
This banksia cup is handmade and decorated with a beautiful hand painted banksia design.
Wild, rugged and resilient. Banksias have become a signature design for Art After Dusk.
Symbolic of the scaring left by the 2020 Black Summer Bushfires and the rebirth and healing of the flora, fauna and the South Coast community.
Photographs are taken to showcase all items from different angles, capturing each artwork as realistically as possible, however, colours may vary from on-screen viewing and look different in different light.
“My ceramic work is not perfect but contained within each piece, is a piece of me. Each tiny mark, each small flaw and imperfection represents the ideas, inspiration and dreams that are embedded within the story of its creation.”
These elements do not detract from the final product and should be embraced and celebrated as part of its unique and handmade process.
Approximate height 11cm.
